Been a while I didn’t post anything. I guess I’ve lost the momentum... just a little maybe and now I’m trying to get it back.. pheww…

Looking at my schedule officially, personally and financially… wow… I just have ‘cukup2’ time for all that.. and soon it’ll be 2010.. Well it’s only the beginning of month February but I’m feeling that I’m already in month of July.. How can that be…? Just read on..

Deep inside my heart I had a feeling that this year is going to be very fast…time is running.. Sometimes I wonder … can I just turn back the clock.. well sure I can.. but in reality times never stop.. every second every millisecond and so forth…

One major event for me this year is… the coming of our third child.. yea… let me just tell the whole world that I’ve another 13 weeks to go… and that’s why I’m already feeling myself is in month of July… May and June I’ll be away from the office… by the time I come back to work it’s already second half of 2009… cepatnyaaaaaaa

Even now I’m rushing to complete whatever job I need to do… this month would be the last month I’ll be able to travel to outstation.. job requirement :D …what to do… carrying my big belly around really makes me tired… and those who know me personally .. Lack of stamina hahahha.. Easily gets tired.. nda cukup glukosa :D

Another major event for me is happening in June .. but I’ll make sure everything is ready by err.. next month March … just in case I delivered my little one much earlier than expected… and everyday I write notes on my table .. whatever pending… err just in case I delivered early…hahahha.. so somebody knows what needs to be done…

Besides that another BIG EVENT for me is in August.. Our 5th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY.. woweeeee……. hubby.. we managed to go thru the first 5 years … according to this source http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wedding_anniversary

Just to share :D .. I've attended the briefing on the transition of the 2000 version to 2008 version. Perhaps those of you in the same line with me should have got some info on it.. no MAJOR changes especially in the requirement..

New Edition of ISO 9001

ISO today published ISO 9001:2008, the latest edition of the International Standard used by organizations in 175 countries as the framework for their quality management systems (QMS).

ISO 9001:2008, Quality management system – Requirements, is the fourth edition of the standard first published in 1987 and which has become the global benchmark for providing assurance about the ability to satisfy quality requirements and to enhance customer satisfaction in supplier-customer relationships.

ISO 9001:2008 contains no new requirements compared to the 2000 edition, which it replaces. It provides clarifications to the existing requirements of ISO 9001:2000 based on eight years’ experience of implementing the standard worldwide and introduces changes intended to improve consistency with the environmental management system standard, ISO 14001:2004.

All ISO standards – currently more than 17 400 – are periodically reviewed. Several factors combine to render a standard out of date, such as technological evolution, new methods and materials, new quality and safety requirements, or questions of interpretation and application. To take account of such factors and to ensure that ISO standards are maintained at the state of the art, ISO has a rule requiring them to be periodically reviewed and a decision taken to confirm, withdraw or revise the documents.

ISO/TC 176, which is responsible for the ISO 9000 family, unites expertise from 80 participating countries and 19 international or regional organizations, plus other technical committees. The review of ISO 9001 resulting in the 2008 edition was carried out by subcommittee SC 2 of ISO/TC 176.

This review has benefited from a number of inputs, including the following: a justification study against the criteria of ISO Guide 72:2001, Guidelines for the justification and development of management system standards; feedback from the ISO/TC 176 interpretations process; a two-year systematic review of ISO 9001:2000 within ISO/TC 176/SC2; a worldwide user survey carried out by ISO/TC 176/SC 2, and further data from national surveys.

ISO Secretary-General Alan Bryden commented: “The revised ISO 9001 results from a structured process giving weight to the needs of users and to the likely impacts and benefits of the revisions. ISO 9001:2008 is therefore the outcome of a rigorous examination confirming its fitness for use as the international benchmark for quality management.”

ISO/TC 176/SC 2 has also developed an introduction and support package of documents explaining what the differences are between ISO 9001:2008 and the year 2000 version, why and what they mean for users. These documents are available on the ISO Web site.

Although certification of conformity to ISO 9001 is not a requirement of the standard, it is frequently used in both public and private sectors to increase confidence in the products and services provided by certified organizations, between partners in business-to-business relations, in the selection of suppliers in supply chains and in the right to tender for procurement contracts. Up to the end of December 2007, at least 951 486 ISO 9001:2000 certificates had been issued in 175 countries and economies.

ISO (which does not itself carry out certification) and the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) have agreed on an implementation plan to ensure a smooth transition of accredited certification to ISO 9001:2008. The details of the plan are given in a joint communiqué by the two organizations which is available on the ISO Web site.

Well... this is another family story.. my younger brother is leaving to Australia…in fact he’s just landed there together with the wife and son-11months, and this is his sms I just received… “lain juga summer sini, sejuk macam kundasang tapi rumput layu..”
… welcome to Melbourne, he’s there to cont. his doctorate study.. am really proud of him.. in fact he did struggle from the old days…

He’s one lucky guy… I wish him all the best in his study.. thou I might not be able to help financially.. but my prayer n thought will always be with him..

Flash back.. I remember fighting with him when we’re kids.. well.. thanks to Daddy for stopping the fight or rather become the ‘referee’ in the wrestling match.. I almost ‘cekik’ him as I was so mad and at the same time want to win the fight. And once I remember also throwing chair to him...(he or me..) gosh.. bad sis la me kan..hahaha..

Now I (the rest of the family too ) have reason to go to Australia for my very own Aussie Adventure……plus +++.. additional bonus… if by any chance Dato’ Tony Fernandez read my blog… KK-Australia… pleaseeeeeeeee

Talking bout my girl…

My first time… attending my child Annual Get Together / Concert.

A month before the actual date I received a notification from the Principal. I was excited and at the same time nervous… what am I suppose to prepare? Dress / hair / shoes… etc. for my girl – since this is the first time I really have no idea what will happen on that day.

Finally the day has come… it was indeed fun and at the same very tiring for me. I was amazed when I saw my girl performed on the stage. At first she didn’t noticed us (me & darling) till we waved at her and she looks a little shy… but when the music start, she sing and dance gracefully… dance baby dance... next to the cute girl with a hat... raised her hand in the air !

I’m really proud of her… perhaps next year she can do a solo… I love you my girl!...

Just to share with all of you… since being a mother I have had 5 maids…

This is a story about them… (Britney Spears – Lucky) … hahaha... got me?

Maid No.1
Overall she’s doing a great job looking after my girl (1st baby) and at the same time doing the house chores.. I’m impressed. Problem is… she likes to steal.. with evidence even until her last day.. she came in our house with just 1 bag.. and when she was about to leave.. wow there’s a big box she had to carry.. I was curious and let darling questioned her what is inside the box.. hahahahha.. guess what… a recorder.. gosh.. she said she only wants to borrow… huh?? Until when? Till we meet again?... then I also discovered these items also … nappy, mirrors & hubby’s mini car collection .. funny

Maid No.2
Very young local girl.. and I have to teach her how to do everything.. she did quite well.. until she met with her friend whom is working in one of the hypermarket in KK… I noticed after that her work performance drop a little.. I guess the ‘friend’ might influenced her to quit and join her… she spent so much time with her hand phone sms'ing and some time late nite chat.. ermm.. I can smell the problem already.. soon after that she went home for Kaamatan Holiday.. as we are also going back to hometown so we let her have her holiday as well… she promised to come back.. but that was it.. never come back.. good luck to her then

Maid No. 3
Temporary only cause I was about to deliver our second child ( 9 months pregnant) so she came in to help till I get a permanent maid. I like her. She speaks English, very hardworking, my girl is happy… oww.. i wish she could stay longer with us.. as soon as I delivered my baby she quitted ( a week after if I’m not mistaken)… how sad..

Maid No.4
Temporary also .. we still could not get a permanent maid.. very playful.. argh… eats a lot even after darling had prepare the food she would insist on adding some other dish.. gosh..

Maid No.5
Errmm.. very old lady… overall is okay.. problem with language.. she left to join his hubby balik kampong…

Well .. lots of things I learn from them.. how to treat them especially.. its really hard to find one that really suite your lifestyle.. nobody perfect.. but with no maid.. its really tough but I still survived.. kids are well taken care of in their current daycare… at least my mind is free from maid stress.. hahaha.. Will put some write-up on my girl first ever concert soon… stay tune…

Recently I was in a dilemma of ‘working mother’... I was so depressed, sad and afraid that I might not be able to keep up with my work… I’ve smsed friends and darling too. Why is this happening to me? Till I received an sms from a dear friend Edna. ‘Naluri ibu mendominasi…’ well I guess that is true coz when I think back during my ‘bujang’, single-no-kids-time. I was so excited with my job… I get to travel so many times and that was really fun. But nowadays.. I feel so hard to travel. Well maybe what Edna says is true… anyone???
